As an introduction my name is Doug Allen. I was born and raised in the Midwest (more specifically Northwest Indiana). I started Rocky Mountain Developers for a few reasons. First and foremost, I love Colorado. I could build homes in Northwest Indiana but there is something about building unique homes on dirt roads with altitudes and views that take your breath away.

Second, I believe the A-Frames and Modern Mountain homes are perfect for high altitude construction and provide affordable second homes as well as short term rentals.  Finally, it gave me a chance to work with my son, Spencer, a Principal with Matukat Construction and my daughter Jannae, their Marketing Manager. They are the General Contractors on all our projects, which is important to me as it means all of our homes are built with acute attention to detail by guys who are passionate about providing lasting value in everything they build.
